For the third year, Exodus Homes has started selling holiday “Honor Cards”. These cards can be given as gifts to family, friends, employees or co-workers, with the minimum $5.00 donation per card going to Exodus Homes. Exodus Homes is the only organization in this county selling these particular cards.
The Honor Card program was started by Greensboro artist William Mangum 20 years ago, and his artwork has graced each year’s card. The cards are being sold by various non-profit groups across the state, with just one group for each geographic area. All proceeds from the sale of these Honor Cards go directly to the organization selling them — and in the case of Catawba County, that means Exodus Homes. All contributions are tax-deductible.
The Honor Card program is made possible by
Wachovia Bank, who has donated the
printing of all of the cards being sold in the
area.
